A Heated Debate........About Arthropods!

Last Updated 3/30/2023Posted in Roar Articles

Each year this is a highly debated topic in our Grade 7 Life Science class --- literally!

Our Grade 7 students look forward to this fun and friendly competition. Students worked in teams to learn about one of the four subphyla - Arachnids, Crustaceans, Insects, and Millipedes and Centipedes.  They came to the debate armed and ready to defend their group of arthropods and prove that they are the best!

This year's judges included Mrs. Snyder, Mrs. Press, Mrs. Hattin, and Ms. Elliott.  The students in Grades 6 & 8 also voted on a winner.  Congratulations to the judges' choice, Team Arachnids and the student's choice, Team Crustaceans.
