Interactive Learning in High School Science

Last Updated 12/29/2022Posted in Roar Articles

Mr. Press is always on the lookout for ways to make our high school science courses more interactive.

Each of the courses includes time in our science lab to complete experiments and demonstrations, funded through our student fees.

Recently the Physical Science class took to the skies with a flight simulator! What a great way to gain an appreciation for the physics behind flying - and landing! - an airplane!

This year Mr. Press also added a new virtual lab component to the courses called Labster. This program is fully integrated with Schoology and allows our students to work on labs at school and at home. This provides many opportunities for students to gain a deeper understanding of the topics in the course.
