Partnered Together in Giving Thanks

Last Updated 11/28/2022Posted in Roar Articles

We always love opportunities for our students to gather together as a full-school family.  Our most recent gathering was for our annual Thanksgiving Chapel.  During our time of worship the High School Praise Team blessed us with a special piece of music.  Our Thanksgiving devotional was led by high school sophomore, Wes Schneider.

Students then met together with partner-grades for a time of reflection and thanks-giving. We were finally able to resume our Thanksgiving Tablecloth tradition which we began before the pandemic.  Each year students will add their notes of thanks to the tablecloth assigned to their partner group.  As the students grow, they remain partners and their tablecloth continues to be filled.  We will display these tablecloths at Grade 8 and Grade 12 graduations each year.
