Fire Safety: It's More than Stop, Drop & Roll!

Last Updated 11/27/2022Posted in Roar Articles

Our elementary students were joined by some very special guests during National Fire Prevention Month.  Students sat quietly for the presentation, and enthusiastically welcomed the special minion-guest and Sparky the fire dog!

Students learned about the importance of creating and practicing a safety plan at home. They were also reminded about the importance of having working smoke detectors throughout the home.

As always, one of the highlights of the visit was a chance to check out the Fire Engines!
